Craftsman Farms is an historic house in Morris County, New Jersey. It is located at 2352 NJ-10, Morris Plains, NJ 07950. The estate was founded by noted early 20th-century designer Gustav Stickley. The goal was to create a farm that would reflect the Arts and Crafts movement. Visitors will find many examples of Stickley’s unique designs, including furniture and other objects.
The museum is housed in Stickley’s log house, which was built during his time on Craftsman Farms. The home is a masterpiece of Arts and Crafts architecture and features Stickley’s own creations as well as decorative arts he bought abroad. It also includes many of Stickley’s family belongings from one hundred years ago. There are six different exhibit areas where visitors can see Stickley’s furniture and other creations.
The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farm is open all year and offers four tours a day. The grounds have a rich history and feature a variety of natural accents. Though Stickley’s designs are long gone, they are still a great example of historic American architecture. You can also purchase books, magazines, and souvenirs at the Museum Shop.
The museum has an extensive collection of American art and crafts. The fine arts collection includes paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and contemporary pieces. The museum also features a major collection of works by American landscape painters. There is also a collection of textiles and costumes dating back to the mid-1700s. Among these is an exhibition of clothing and textiles designed by Pucci.
Another antiques destination in Syracuse is Dalton’s American Decorative Arts. It’s run by collector Dave Rudd. The museum is located in a renovated farmhouse that was constructed in the 1880s. It features more than 150 Stickley pieces. The museum also offers a tour of the farm and the museum grounds. My homepage link

The museum is located in a former stone grist mill on the Raritan River. It replaced a mill that was built on the same site in 1763 by General George Washington. The mill was sold in the 1950s, but local residents raised funds to turn it into a museum. The museum features changing exhibits from prominent local artists and sponsors a variety of art classes.
