1. Ask your contractor if they are licensed and insured.
   Only work with licensed and insured contractors. This is a huge trust factor and will also ensure that you are protected.
2. Ask your contractor for references and look at their online reviews.
   Researching online reviews is probably the best way to see what other people think about the contractor you are considering. (ours are stellar)
3. Be clear on the project timeline
   a. What is the lead time on materials?
   b. How long is the installation proposed to take. Do they work weekends/nights?
   c. What is your expected downtime if any?
4. Ask what unforseen issues may arise and how that will be handled.
