Bedminster is a township in Somerset County, New Jersey. Its population is 8,165 as of the 2010 census, compared to 8,302 in the 2000 Census and 7,086 in the 1990 census. Bedminster is a nationally recognized center for equestrian sports and has a long history of equestrian competitions. Bedminster was home to a famous Revolutionary War spy. The town has many Revolutionary War connections, and John Honeyman is buried in Lamington Presbyterian Church Cemetery. He was an informant to George Washington and provided vital information that helped Washington win the Battle of Trenton. Incredibly, Honeyman lived to the age of 93 and is buried in the Lamington Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Bedminster is also home to several prominent personalities, including Forbes and President Donald Trump. Forbes, who is the editor-in-chief of Forbes, lives in Bedminster near Trump National Golf Club. Other notable residents include former governors Thomas Kean and D. Douglas Dillon, as well as officials of the Johnson and Kennedy administrations. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis also owned a home in the town.
